DECEMBER OPENING FOR FIRST OF JORDAN'S
TWO NEW UPSCALE KEMPINSKI PROPERTIES

The world's oldest-established luxury hotel group, Kempinski Hotels & Resorts, at the end of this month opens the first of two new hotels in Jordan.

The Kempinski Hotel Amman, in the heart of the Jordanian capital and close to its all-important business district, is a new-build property offering 259 rooms, 22 suites and two Royal suites.

All rooms will feature high-speed internet access and interactive TV systems offering a choice of 28 satellite channels, in addition to the more traditional upscale amenities.

The Kempinski Hotel Amman will have five restaurants and bars, a discotheque, a health centre including gym, two dance studios and a swimming pool, two cinemas, and a one-of-a-kind entertainment centre and games room.

Business facilities include a business centre; five fully equipped meeting rooms and a 450 square metre ballroom.

The Amman property, opening on December 1, will be followed in September 2005 by the Kempinski Ishtar Resort Hotel & Spa, on the shores of the Dead Sea.

The resort will offer 120 suites and two VIP Royal villas, divided into three distinct and exclusive “enclaves” and set amid landscaped gardens, tranquil lagoons, winding rivers, cascading waterfalls and private pools.

A designer wellness spa will offer Dead Sea water floating pools, mud treatments and whirlpools, while a fully-equipped sports centre will include tennis and squash courts.
